Every embedded engineer comes with bench support — an architect, a security reviewer, an SRE — without those names showing up on your bill.
You hire a person, not a body. Named, interviewed, calibrated.
Productive PR within the first 5 working days.
When your embedded engineer needs help, they pull from our bench at no cost.
30-day rolling termination after the 3-month minimum.
Embedded engineers operate inside your culture, your tools, and your standards. The deliverable is shipped work, not invoices.
You interview the specific person. We don’t do swap-outs without your consent. Same person for the duration unless you ask for change.
In your Slack, your repo, your standup, your incident channel. Not parked behind an ops layer.
A KVB tech lead reviews their work weekly and is available to you for escalation. No extra charge.
PTO and sickness coverage from the bench. No “your engineer is out for two weeks” surprises mid-quarter.
Short written summary: what shipped, what shifted, what we’re watching. So you’re not chasing status updates.
Performance review with you. Either side can flag concerns early. We re-baseline if the fit isn’t right.
Simple pricing: one number per engineer per month. Discounts kick in past 3 engineers or past 12 months.
We respect the cost of slow ramp. The process is built so your new engineer is shipping inside their first week.
You describe the role; we propose 2–3 named engineers within 3 working days. You interview. Choose, or we send more.
Access provisioned, onboarding doc read, first 1:1 done. Their tech lead introduced to your engineering management.
Productive PR shipped by end of week 1 — even if small. Pattern-matched into your code review and CI flow.
Standups, on-call shadow, sprint commitments. Their tech lead reviews weekly; coverage from the bench when they’re out.
If something isn’t answered here, ask in your intro email — we keep this list short on purpose.
Top-of-funnel referral-only. Then four senior engineers interview before we make an offer. We hire about 1 in 80 candidates and our average tenure is over 12 years.
30-day no-fault swap during the first 60 days. After that, normal off-ramp applies. We’d rather lose the engagement than fight to keep a bad fit.
Engineers are in US Pacific, US Eastern, and CET (Lisbon). We can usually overlap 4+ hours with any global team. We don’t do night-shift placements.
After 12 months on the engagement, yes — with a transfer fee that gets credited toward future engagements with us. Before that, we’d rather keep the team intact for you.
Send a paragraph about the problem. We’ll come back inside 48 hours with a written take — team shape, cost envelope, riskiest assumptions.
